We want to finally open-source this implementation. There are still some things to do until then:

Test environments:

• How can I run KIRA in a emulated test environment (similar to when using)
• How can I run KIRA on a physical machine?

Performance:

• It should be possible to run 50 - 100 nodes without running into performance problems.

Functionality:

• The core routing protocol (R2K) functions need to work:
• Contact Discovery & Maintenance
• Reaction to Link Failures
• Use all available links
• Functional DHT including REST-API
• Forwarding should also be functional: All nodes should be reachable using a ping from all other nodes.
