Fix docs formatting / grammar

In the docs many times one can find two sentences not separated by a period. For example this one. But this one looks good. The docs string is okay but the readthedocs formatter (or the translation from markdown to rst) changes the formatting ending up with no line separator.

Solutions: either add a period everywhere or add an empty line in every doc string.
