The reg-app is an identity management (IDM) system, which is focused on providing an interface for end-users to register with configured serviced. Opposed to IDM systems, which actively poll datasources for user data, reg-app processes user data first, when the user logs in to the application. The federated log in mechanism is [SAML2](http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/v2.0/saml-core-2.0-os.pdf).
